It has been a while since I have put up a newsletter and my apologies for that. With Covid-19 and everything else going on in my and the choir's life it has been a difficult time.
We are back to face to face rehearsals and we are adhering to COVID guidelines with regard to social distancing and cleaning so if you wish to return to rehearsals we would love to have you. However, if you feel you are not quite ready to return to face to face rehearsals we have received a grant to purchase live streaming equipment which we now have. So please stay tuned and we should be able to share our rehearsals with you online through our website.
Since our return we have been busy. We recently performed at the South West Festival of Japan performing both "Sukura" and "Sukiyaki Song" on two days over the event. I am immensley proud of the choir our Musical Director and Accompanist for pulling this together. Feedback is that it was wonderful.
Coming up we have the Live Lighter Southwest Filipino Community Arts Festival 2020 where we will be performing the National Anthem, the Beatles Medley and a Filipino song Katakataka. The Festival lineup is great so come along and join us in the wonderful event.
Carols and Christmas are coming up fast so stay tuned for our next news event.
