BUNBURY BEL CANTO SINGERS NEWSLETTER
Welcome Bel Canto singers and welcome to our very first newsletter for the new financial year!
We have had such a successful trip to Melbourne taking part in the Melbourne International Singers Festival brought to you by Play it forward. The choir of 28 that made the trip has learned some tips and methods from some of the best in the industry, learning from Jonathan Welch and Paul Jarman. Memories have been made, bonds and new friends have been made. We all have learned a lot and we look forward to sharing our learning with the rest of the choir. We would like to once again thank everyone for their hard work in getting us to Melbourne, while we were in Melbourne and the things that we have learned will be with us for a life time. Thanks a million, to Play it forward and the amazing team in their mammoth efforts on running this amazing event and we very much look forward to heading back next year!
NOTICES
AGM:
The AGM will be held on the 29th of August 2023 at 6pm for a 6:30pm start before practice. Notice of meeting will be handed out in the coming weeks please keep this date free, we need as many members as possible to attend this meeting. It gives you the best opportunity to have a say. So please come along.
SUPPER:
We normally hold a supper here on the first Tuesday of the month after practice, this is a fantastic way to get to know your fellow choristers and to make amazing friendships. Please feel free to bring a plate to this event. Details on this will be posted in the next couple of days.
FEEDBACK:
The committee loves to hear your feedback, please feel free to come and have a chat with any of the committee members if you have any feedback, suggestions, or concerns. We are all here to help support you in the best way we can.
Keep your eyes peeled in the next half of the year there are some amazing things to come!!
